November 1st!

Today I am thankful for the power of prayer! I am taking one of my hardest classes this semester; Human Physiology.  I study at least two hours a day and still don't always comprehend the material.  I have made a habit of praying to help me understand what I study and today I had my 3rd test and I got a 96%!! I did my part by studying and trying to do my best and I know Heavenly Father filled in where I lacked!

Relationship Status!

Since day one of this semester I have been in a new relationship.... :) It's with my Physiology Book!! He comes everywhere with me, most of my day is spent with him... last time someone asked if I was in a relationship, I was tempted to use him as my answer!! This is probably the toughest class I have taken.... Here is to hoping I make it through the semester alive!! :) 

My Best Friend, The Future Missionary!!

Sister Michelle Shurtz is leaving on her mission October 5th!! We are all so excited for her! Michelle has been my best friend since birth! This is my short little message on how lucky I am to have her in my life! Michelle has been my side through all of the good and bad of life! I can be a strong headed person ad not always the easiest person to be around, however she loves me anyways.  Michelle has taught me the importance of loving the gospel and putting it first in my life.  Ever since she was a little girl she has loved her Heavenly Father and has had a strong testimony.  She has such a strong love for this gospel and I know the people of Arizona will be blessed because of her.  She has a talent of bringing people closer to her and this is due to the her always having the spirit with her and the light of Christ in her life!!

Glacier, Montana.... and Canada, Eh?

About a week ago my family and I went on an amazing trip to Glacier, Montana and Waterton, Canada!! It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been!! We did lots of hiking, fishing and saw some beautiful sights!!

This was our first stop; Goat Lick :) Not entirely sure why... I didn't see any goats!!

This was a short little hike off the road; yet it was probably one of our favorite spots!
The fall was so Beautiful; and it's one of the only falls of it's kind!

I would probably say all the hike's were my favorite. I really liked the hike- Virginia Falls and Mary Falls.
You hiked along a river and saw about four hikes until you got to the top; one of the largest Falls.

After hiking, we tried out our luck in fishing... not so good- but it gave me good fly fishing practice!
But we did have a cute deer come out to us and become our friend!!

We made it to CANADA!! Mine and my sisters first visit there! :)

you were in an enchanted forest! At the end we had a little fun

doubled the length of their hike!

I miss our little cabin we stayed at and the beautiful scenery and the cute
Alpacas that lived on the ranch!

Wo Ai Nimen!!!

This summer I had one of the best weeks ever!! I had to chance to spend a week with two of the cutest girls from China!! I felt like I had gone back home :)

Tina and Cindy came with about 40 other students from a school in Beijing! 

We packed our week full of activities!! We took them to try mini golf!!

We went to the Ogden Rodeo, which was a blast!! Cindy takes horse riding lessons and is in love with horses!

We took them up the canyon to our cabin; I love seeing how excited they get over things we see everyday!

They loved getting to sit and relax; something Chinese students
don't get to experience very often!

One of their favorite things they did while in America was roast
hot dogs and marshmallows!! :)

We used the HUGE marshmallows as well and made a pretty big mess :)

Tina Loved everyone :) She especially loved Kathy and got
excited every time she came over!!

We went to the Paris Ice Caves; which was a blast... but FREEZING! :)
We obviously didn't dress well enough for it!!

This was probably my favorite moment of the entire week!!
We went to Bloomington Lake, which is FREEZING cold, and has
a fun rope swing! Brian and I told Tina if she went in we would. so she jumped
up grabbed a hold of the rope and went right in!!

Which meant I had to go in... it was definitely worth it!

Cindy had no intentions of going in, but decided
she didn't want to miss out on the fun! :)

We went to Lagoon with all the students and Michelle came with too

Cindy's Birthday was the week after she left; so we decided to
throw her a birthday party!!
The next morning they asked if they could have cake and ice cream for breakfast :)

I Love these girls SO MUCH; this was such a great experience and I hope to see them again someday!!

Harry Potter Extravaganza!!

I'm pretty sure I have the most amazing friends ever!! My friend Britney planned a two day Harry Potter party. Not only did we watch all the movies, but we played a game for each movie that Britney made up!!

These were amazing games, This was  a very fun two days!!

For the midnight movie we all dressed up as character's that died throughout the books!! And when we dress up, we don't just casually dress up... We go ALL OUT!! Everyone looked amazing!!! Pretty sure Hannah and I were the weirdest ones :)

BRAD PAISLEY!!!

My family and I went to the Stadium of Fire to see BRAD PAISLEY and David Archuleta!  My mom and I are big country fans... however, from the pictures you would think Brian was the cowboy in our family!

 We thought we would dress up so we would fit in with the crowd... however, I think we were a few of only 50 people who wore cowboy hats... But we had fun!!

It was such an amazing concert, We loved Stadium of Fire, best show and fireworks around!!

Cleaning the Sink!

I have been wanting to to clean the sink at Angie's for a long time, and when I finally got to do it... I did it twice in 1 week!! That's a lot of ice cream!! The sink is a gallon of ice cream with whipped cream, fudge, resses, oreos, bananas and strawberries!!
