No matter what stage in life I am I have always had dreams... some I have fulfilled like going to China and others I'm still hoping may happen... like being a dolphin trainer :) I have created a list of not only places I want to go but specific things i want to do while there. It is weird tradition I have. In New York I had to eat a hot dog from a street vendor and in China I had to do a Kung-Fu move on the Great Wall!! :)
My cousin has this quote that their family lives by and I want to implement it into my life!
"The World is a Book, and Those Who Do Not Travel Read Only A Page" - St Augustine
Here is my list of dreams, I may not go to all these places, but hopefully will go to many!
Ice Skating in New York City
Frisbee and a picnic in Central Park
REI in Seattle
Harry Potter World in Florida
Go to the Oregon Coast
Eat Dumplings in Hangzhou, China
Buy a Russian hat in St. Petersburg
Go Zip-lining in the Carribean’s Tropical Forest
Eat Bratwurst in Germany
Go Snorkling in the Bahamas
Stand at Platform 9 ¾ in London
Go surfing in Hawaii
Swim with dolphins ANYWHERE!
Cliff Jumping in Greece
I am sure I will add more as life goes on... but I thought this was a good beginning!

I'm an Aggie!
3 weeks ago I moved up to Logan as a transfer student to Utah State University! I has been a great experience since day one!
I really enjoy my apartment, we have the cutest view and occasionally have deer coming up to our window.

Hannah took me on a fun adventure to True Aggie Night... One of the most hilarious experiences I have ever encountered! The highlight kiss of the night is when one couple FELL OFF THE A... It was so sad! but now worries they got right back up and back to that kiss.

I went to my first Aggie game... which was SO CRAZY!! The fans are wild!

My roommates are wild about Swing Dancing and have gotten me into the Swing Dancing Fever :) It is so much fun, I feel like a cowgirl... especially with Hannah's cute Cowgirl Boots! We had a Rodeo Activity at the institute, it was fun to be with Mauri at school :) I am loving Utah State.

For my Jazz History Class I have to go listen to live jazz performances. We went to the cutest Cafe downtown- it was so much fun! It was a fun atmosphere; we got to drink hot chocolate, while sitting in the cutest cafe listening to great music!

Yay Utah State!!

There's A Place For Us
I went with my family to see the new Chronicles of Narnia Movie- Voyage of the Dawn on New Years Day!! At the very end during the credits, Carrie Underwood sings the song There's A Place For Us and I thought it was perfect for the new year. I found it very inspiring, this is a new year a chance to change and realize our true importance in life!
So if you feel like giving up cause you don't fit in down here,
fear is crashing in, close your eyes and take my hand.
when these broken hands are whole again,
well will find what we've been waiting for,
we were made for so much more
We can be the kings and queens of anything if we believe.
It's written in the stars that shine above,
a world where you and I belong, where faith and love will keep us strong,
exactly who we are is just enough,
there's a place for us, there's a place for us
So if you feel like giving up cause you don't fit in down here,
fear is crashing in, close your eyes and take my hand.

2010 in Pictures!
This has been an exciting year full of lots of adventure, however, I am sure next year will bring even more!
This year I got to go on my first big adventure.... I went to China and spent 5 months teaching English, it was wonderful and I hope many other adventures like this are in my near future!

Only 3 days after returning home from China I was off on another adventure I had always wanted to go on... I went and spent a week backpacking through Philmont! :) I was lucky enough to go with my cousin Bethany!

My cousin Kelly and his family live in Atlanta, Georgia so we only see them a few times a year. Last year I spent a week in Georgia with them, this year they came to Utah and I was lucky enough to be home to see them!!
I have had the dream of cutting down a tree for a long time!! Mike Jensen helped fulfill this wish and certified me in chainsaw safety and then off I went to cutting down my first tree!!
Bethany has been trying to get me to swim the mile and camp for a LONG time, I finally swam it the last week of camp... procrastination? Yes! but at least I did it!
I learned a lot of new skills, like how to use a hand saw and nail gun and I got to help build the new rifle range!

I went on a wilderness campout with my best friend Michelle and we built our first shelter together, it worked extremely well!! :)
For part of my awards I earned in Venturing I had to catch food and prepare it! After several failed attempts I finally caught my first fish!
We went on our annual trip to the fair!

One of my Best Friends Bradi Jones got married!
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I got to spend it with some of my favorite people! It was an amazing Halloween!

Michelle, Brittany and I attended our first annual Ski Burning Bonfire, a sacrifice to the Snow Gods... In attempts to find it we ran into Dracula's Castle!

I finished my first ever Caligraphy Piece!
I went to the jazz game with my friends!

I turned 21!
I earned the Ranger award for Venturing along with the two top awards the gold and silver!

We got to meet Kristal at the airport after returning home from a semester in Hawaii! We also met Elder L. Tom Perry!
I was able to celebrate my 21st birthday with my best friends and go to the Gallivan Center for the first time!
My friends and I have kept up our sleepover tradition! We have been having sleepovers since we were 5!!
I got to Welcome Home 2 of my Best Friends!
Kyle Spackman
and Kendell Coburn!
Ringing in the New Year with my Cousins!! :)
What a Wonderful Year!! I am exciting for what 2011 will bring!

Family Time!
This week my sister and her husband came down to spend some time with our family!! We spent a few days together just playing!! We went to the zoo- acting like we were little children, the aquarium, the planetarium and to crystal hot springs in a blizzard- i love hot tubing in the snow!! We also played a lot of mario brothers on the wii(pretty much all I have done the past week :D) It was fun to be with all my family!!
Those would be birds behind us... Our family has recently become obsessed with birds :)
Reenacting our childhood zoo pictures :)

It has been a fun winter break!!
They're Back!! :)
A few weeks ago Kyle Spackman and Kendell Coburn returned home from their missions! It has been fun to have them back especially during this time of year!!
Here we are with a bunch of our friends at Kyle's homecoming!

Then it was over to Kyle's House!! :)

Then off to Kendell's!! Here is our successful picture after about 5 attempts because I can not keep my eyes open!!
